Another question.

The old remake project was based on Mother 2 but your remake is more about Mother 3...why the shift? Was this a big decision?

Uhh... I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the graphics being, y'know, better, also the battle system looks much better with the icons and actually seeing your character, in case you didn't notice

We were originally doing it Mother 2-style, but switched to Mother 3 because of better graphics, battle system, etc.
We just decided one day that the Mother 2 version wasn't looking that good, and we all thought it was best to make the switch. We even switched to Game Maker at that time, so you could say it was a pretty big decision.
6 months ago is when it happened, and everything's been done from scratch since then.

We used M2 style before since other remakes seemed to be on hold, but when we switched to Game Maker, we realized there were no M3 style remakes. So while switching to Game Maker, we decided to go M3 style.
