When I first saw this project, I got excited, I've never played Mother (EB0) before, and an updated and translated version would help fill me in on this missing piece of US gaming history, but then I saw that it's not yet finished, and that you were asking for help developing and I got excited yet again, I personally have some experience coding games in C++ and C# (as well as other random programming languages), Torque Game Engine, and I have worked a lot with RPG Maker 1 and 2 for the PS and PS2 respectively, as well as RPG Maker XP for PC, I have not however, worked with Game Maker which is what this project has been moved over to apparently.

Anyway, I have enough free time at work/school to work on the project while there (as well as teachers/co-workers/employers that would actually encourage such a project as long as I also got my work done), so if you think you use me in any way, let me know as I'd love to help out.

Since you know how to code in C++, you won't have a hard time learning GML (if you're willing to learn that). We need as many good GML people as we can get, so far off the top of my head i can count me, mothereater, wootman, and XX Stone. And Toast, he does the animated backgrounds.

Alright, I've been reading about GML for a good part of today and it shouldn't be too hard to pick up, I pretty much just need to go over what all the built-in functions do and I should be good to go from there, is there anything else I should do or know about?

Also will we be working with the Lite or the Pro version of GM?

I've got GM Pro, but I've moved on to DarkBASIC, so I have a feeling I won't be much help with the coding for this anymore. Crying or Very sad But you've seen my EarthBound Zero Database Project, I know how things are supposed to be in this game. I could help with map layout, if given a tileset and a place that has to be made. I'm really looking forward to making Mt. Itoi. 👽 I can't sprite Mother 3 style (I haven't really tried yet), and I will NOT work with music. But I'll help anyway I can. Cool

Just wondering if I could come back to the project and help you guys out a little. I'm not sure if you guys even need me at all, after all, I did go on a temporary hiatus for spriting and whatnot, but if you guys could use my work, I'll help out again. I can't promise any set amount of hours of a day, or anything like that, since it would just be another empty promise I make, however, I'd like to help this project out here and there. If you seriously have no clue who I am, Toast and Co, shame on you. XD

Well, if you guys want me to help... I'm gonna need to know what you need me to do. Now, once again, keep in mind I can't make any promises about getting all of my duties done... BUT I'LL TRY. Really hard. And you have to keep in mind that I have a limit to what I can/will do. Not that you ever did, just putting it out there. So... uh... email me or PM me the details. Or something. XD

I would like to help out in anyway I can. I can make oveworld sprites, and possibly battle sprites. In fact, here are some examples of my work:

(Well, I have to admit the Ness, Jeff, Paula, and Poo sprites were just edits of their Mother 2 sprites, but the Lloyd, Ana, and Teddy sprites were original, which is what's important anyway.)

I would also like to help with the game's script. I believe I can revise it and make it a bit more colorful, and whatnot. So basically, I want to help in anyway I can.

Contact Toast about the script-revising, and contact tebited15 about helping with spriting (basically lower his workload, lol). We need as much help as we can get, what with some staff members mysteriously disappearing Neutral

Well, I was excited about it when I've first heard of this remake, and got even more excited when I found out that the move I made up for Ninten in my sprite series, The Insane EarthBound Adventures, PK Techno was going to be Ninten's PSI move! Very Happy
